About Route6 Driving School

Hi I'm Amanda, I am a fully qualified female Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am passionate about road safety. Route6 Driving School is owned and run by me, I also have a Level 2 in Counselling to ensure you receive the right training to suit your needs and abilities. I am passionate about driving and look forward to helping you achieve your goal of driving freedom and becoming a confident and safe driver.

I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. My background is in management, projects and training from the catering industry to travel and from running businesses to managing staff. I was a school governor for many years and was also a Brownie / Girl Guide leader in the local community and becoming a driving instructor allows me to utilise all my skills to help you pass your test.

I was fortunate to be trained in the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard. The system I was trained in allows for flexibility so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. The knowledge and experience I have gained helps me to deliver efficient and flexible learning to help you pass your test.
